Theological English (EN)

Theological English Course

Readings in Theological English literature is designed to allow course members to improve skills in reading, understanding, and discussing English-language theological texts. Since the entire class is conducted in English, the course serves as a good preparation for students who are going to study abroad.  Each week, we read and discuss short excerpts from the works of English-speaking theologians, past and present, from different Christian traditions and from a range of locations (from Britain to Africa, from North America to Asia). Past courses have focused on diverse topics: Liberation Theology; N. T. Wright; American Christianity; and Alister McGrath’s book, Theology: The Basic Readings.
